The House

The House in the hillock was bought by Paola and Fabrizio in December 1992 (video):

at the time it had been uninhabited for over 50 years, reachable by a country road which in case of rain or snow could only be just traveled on foot or by agricultural vehicles .

It was a country house with the stable on the lower floor and the house on the upper level and, in the courtyard, a well over forty meters deep (still functioning) which guaranteed water for the vegetable garden, livestock and man.

Voices of old inhabitants near the Bricco recall that the last inhabitant was a Funaio: a craftsman who produced the ropes by hand, exploiting the length of the hill to the threads of hemp twine.
